uPCR (mg/g) = Urine protein (mg/L) ÷ Urine creatinine (g/L)

When both values are entered in mg/dL, uPCR mg/g = (protein ÷ creatinine) × 1000.

A spot uPCR approximates daily protein excretion but must be interpreted with clinical context and local laboratory policy.
